it takes a village to hold a family.
After a decade of supporting families as a one gal team, I decided to take my own advice and ask for help from my village; to provide your family with more options for support, education and held space. I know you will love them as much as I do.
Courtney Jenkins
doula. childbirth educator. infant massage instructor.
I have dedicated over half of my life to loving families and walking them through lifeโs transitions. I have a deep passion for meeting you where you are at, advocacy and peer connections- because no one should walk this path thinking they are all alone. This passion has lead to the births of my babies; Heart to Earth and The Solidarity Space.
I bring over 15 years of in-home family support and over a decade of knowledge, education and experience as a fully certified full spectrum doula, childbirth educator + infant massage instructor supporting families from pregnancy though postpartum and into the years of early parenting.
I deeply believe in the impact of unwavering, non-judgmental support for all families through pregnancy, birth + the early years of parenthood to nurture who each member is becoming. Showing the way to self trust and following what feels right.
The Solidarity Space is a physical holder of space, a safe space, a home. A collaboration of my most loved practitioners and community offerings striving to support the journey of bringing life and raising life in this world. A way to fill in the gaps in care I have been working alongside since beginning my journey;
a space that makes asking for help so simple. Advocacy, guidance, education, raw honesty and solidarity- the foundations for a village.
I am honoured to be able to support families through private and group education classes, labour and birth doula support, prenatal support, private meal prepping, nesting and postpartum support, infant massage education sessions, transitional ceremonies and community gatherings for parents and families.
I would like to thank you for the honour of considering myself and my village as part of your support village. I promise to honour and cherish every moment of our journey together.
