Today I thought someone who deserved some Local Love was Chantelle Denstedt. Chantelle is a wife, mom (of our past #momboss) and an amazing grandmother. Chantelle’s presence leaves you feeling more confident in yourself and with more knowledge as she shares her wisdom on natural wellness, self care and mindfulness.
Chantelle is the owner behind Be You Essential Oils. This woman as a book, bigger than anything I have ever seen covering every oil -ever- and their uses in day to day life. She has somehow tricked the clock into aging her backwards with the use of oils, wellness and self care. A wealth of knowledge when it comes to oils you should have and use- and if she doesn’t know right away, she has plenty of literature on hand to help her lead you in the right direction. Chantelle also holds amazing DiY and information sessions include homemade cleaning products, roller bottles and homemade bar soap!
Chantelle and her husband Craig own and manage an amazing little tea shop in Bracebridge called Tea Infusion. They carry over 130 unique blends and flavours of tea, kombucha (brewed in store, using their very own tea blends), chilled, freshly brewed teas, and a corner where they feature local artisans. Tea blends range from fun and fruity Apple Pie flavour, to earthy and wellness supporting teas such as Chaga and Ayurvedic Stress Relief. You can get a tea to enjoy and some loose tea to try at home.
I would highly recommend you try the Herbs for Women; cinnamon, apple bits, rooibos, ginger bits, raspberry leaves, fennel, chamomile, cardamom, alchemilla, clove, orange peel, perforated St. John’s Wort, black pepper, juniper berry, natural flavouring- a delicious way to get your red raspberry leaf tea in! Not only is red raspberry good for pregnant and postpartum moms, it is also great for men and children too as it is super high in B vitamins, Vitamin C, zinc, magnesium and potassium. Not to mention it is an incredible tonic for toning your uterus in pregnancy.
They also offer a tea for nursing mothers called Nurse Me Rhyme; made of Red Rooibos Tea, Raspberry leaf, Lemon Balm, Fenugreek seed, Fennel seed, Marshmallow root, Blessed Thistle, Rosehips, and Anise seed. A wonderful, delicious blends of lactation inducing herbs, to up your supply and keep you hydrated and nourished.
Overall Chantelle is a huge inspiration to me, and her businesses are a wonderful addition to supporting your families health holistically. I highly recommend you reach out to her for all your oily questions, you won’t regret it!
