One of the most important parts of my handcrafted elderberry syrup is the local honey, the more local the honey is to you, the better results you will have. This kit gives you the option to make my syrup even better for your family by controlling what goes into it. I supply all of the herbs and berries, all you need it water, some honey (or maple syrup) and some time.

Elderberries Canadian. This antioxidant packed berry is believed to lower cholesterol, improve vision, boost the immune system, improve heart health and is used to diminish symptoms of coughs, colds, flus, bacterial and viral infections and tonsillitis. Chemicals in both the flowers and berries may help diminish swelling in mucous membranes like sinuses and help relieve nasal congestion. 

Echinacea Research shows it increases the number of white blood cells, helping to fight off infections and increases resistance to illnesses through immune stimulation. An adaptogen/ an immune modulator; If your immune system is overactive it will help bring it down and if it it low it will help to bring it up through gently and slowly.

Marshmallow root supports, soothes and moistens the mucous membranes of the respiratory, digestive and urinary tracts. Helping with sore throats and dry, irritated sinuses.

Rosehips are a powerful flower, packed with Vitamin C, Vitamin E and B-Complex, as well as calcium, iron, selenium, manganese, magnesium, phosphorous, potassium, sulphur and zinc. 

Hibiscus is packed with antioxidants and vitamin C. Its anti-inflammatory properties make it perfect for when your immunity is starting to lower and your body is aching. It assists with immune function, digestion not to mention it tastes great.

Ginger root helps to kill bacterias present and helps to improve circulation. 

Cinnamon is antiviral, anti fungal and antibacterial. 

Cloves are an excellent source of manganese, a very good source of dietary fiber, Vitamin C, and omega 3 fatty acids. As well as a good source of calcium and magnesium- all things that can help boost your nutritional health. Cloves can also act as a digestive aid.
